How Can I Fund My Ayda Wallet and Projects?
A step-by-step guide to adding funds to your Ayda Wallet or specific projects.
To pay participants through Ayda, it's essential to have funds available in your account. You can top up your Ayda Wallet or directly add funds to a specific project. Any funds in your Ayda Wallet can be used for any of your projects.
Select Currency and Amount
If you're managing multiple currencies, you can choose your preferred currency for the top-up. Select the currency and enter the amount you wish to add.

Generating a Pro Forma Invoice
You have the option to generate a pro forma invoice when adding funds. This is a formal request for funds (not a VAT invoice) and helps finance teams track and document transactions. If you select "Yes" for the pro forma invoice, you will receive a detailed breakdown of the funds request by email, and it will also be available in your reports section.
Bank Transfer Details
If you choose not to generate a pro forma invoice, Ayda will guide you to the next step, where you will see the bank transfer details for your transaction.
Please ensure that you always include the bank reference code when making a transfer. This allows your payment to be processed automatically. If the bank reference code is not used, the funds will be credited to your Ayda Wallet, but this may take up to 2 working days to complete. Click here to learn more about bank reference codes.
