At Ayda, we aim to ensure participants claim their incentives fairly and promptly, which is essential for maintaining a healthy research ecosystem. If a participant hasn’t claimed their incentive within the agreed timeframe, you can rebate it.
Here's how to rebate unclaimed incentives on Ayda's platform.
Step 1: Decide on the Claiming Period
Before initiating the rebate process, decide on the claiming period — the duration participants have to claim their incentives. The minimum claim window is 30 days, but you can set a longer period if necessary.
To avoid confusion, make sure to communicate the claim window clearly to your participants.
Step 2: How to Rebate Unclaimed Incentives
- Go to your Ayda Wallet and click Move Funds.
- Select Unclaimed Incentives.
- If you have multiple wallets, choose the relevant currency.
- Choose the unclaimed period.
- Decide if you’d like participant details (name and email) to be included in the rebate. This will allow these details to appear in the Excel Summary Statement report.
Click Rebate to apply it across all your projects.
Alternatively, you can rebate on a project-by-project basis by going to the Project, cancelling the released incentives, and having the funds returned to your project wallet. When the project is closed, the amount will be refunded to your Ayda Wallet.
Important Notes:
- For Classic Version projects, you can rebate unclaimed incentives in the project tab or using the rebate feature across all your projects.
- The Rebate Unclaimed Incentives feature will apply to all projects across your account, regardless of which version they were created in.
