How to Close a Project and Manage Cancelled Incentives

When Should You Click "Complete Project"?

Closing a Project will return any remaining funds to your wallet, and any incentives linked to cancelled assignments will be credited back to your Ayda Wallet.

Important note: The incentive amount for cancelled assignments will be refunded to your Ayda Wallet, but fees and VAT are non-refundable, as stated in our T&Cs.

Closing a project does not affect assignments that are ready to claim. Participants can still claim their incentives as usual. If the incentive is planned, it will stay as planned. However, if it has been allocated, it will be cancelled, and the amount will be returned to your wallet.

When Should You Click "Complete Project"?

You should click the "Complete Project" button once all tasks are finished or if you need to move the project funds back to your wallet. Don’t worry—if you need to make changes later, you can always reopen the project.

To close or reopen a project:

  1. Go to the Projects tab.
  2. Select the project you want to manage.
  3. Click Close or Reopen as needed.
